The arena is the home of professional hockey’s Washington Capitals and professional basketball’s Washington Wizards, and has a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 people.
President Trump’s victory in 2024 will establish home-field advantage for House Republicans in 2026.
The rally will be the first hosted by Trump and his team since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the November presidential election.
But Trump spoke in front of thousands of conservative activists at a Turning Point USA rally in Arizona on Dec. 22.
