President-elect Trump on Saturday nominated several more candidates for various positions during his second term.
Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes has been selected to chair President Trump’s Intelligence Advisory Board (IAB). IBM executive Troy Edgar has been selected as deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. And Bill White was chosen as ambassador to Belgium.
If confirmed, Nunes would lead the IAB, which advises the president on the legality of foreign intelligence operations.
“As Mr. Devin assumes leadership of the Trump Media & Technology Group, he will leverage his experience as the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and his critical role in exposing Russian, Russian, and Russian disinformation. “They will provide me with an independent assessment of the effectiveness and adequacy of the activities of the U.S. intelligence community,” Trump said in the announcement.

President Trump also nominated Edgar to be deputy secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
“Troy previously served for me as Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Management at the Department of Homeland Security, managing a $90 billion budget, funding critical immigration policy, and funding wall construction,” Trump said in a statement. He did a great job,” he said.
“Troy is currently an executive at IBM. He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California,” President Trump said. “He previously served as mayor of Los Alamitos, California, and helped lead the city and county’s revolt against Sanctuary City in 2018.”
If both men are confirmed, Edgar will join South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who was nominated by President Trump to head the Department of Homeland Security.
Also Saturday afternoon, President Trump announced that White, a businessman and major political donor, would become U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium.
Mr. White is the founder and CEO of Constellations Group, a Manhattan-based consulting firm, and previously served as director of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York.
“Bill is a highly respected businessman, philanthropist, author, and advocate for our nation’s military, veterans, and first responders. He is CEO of Constellations Group,” President Trump said in a statement. He is also the former director of the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum.
“Bill has raised more than $1.5 billion for fallen heroes, mortally wounded service members, severely burned service members, and to support the great American patriots who gave everything for their country. He is a two-time recipient of the Distinguished Serviceman Award for extraordinary service. We would like to thank the U.S. Coast Guard for his service and the outstanding support of the U.S. Navy.”
