Law Tactical’s steel adapter allows you to attach a folding stock to your AR-15 to create a compact rifle that can be easily deployed from a vehicle or for transportation in non-permissive environments. Works with standard gas impingement or gas piston systems. Accepts A2, Mil-Spec M4 styles, commercially available carbine receiver extension tubes, and almost any stock that will fit them. Compatible with all standard bolt carrier groups, including full auto and .308 sizes. One-button operation allows quick folding and unfolding, and a steel locking latch keeps the stock securely in place when extended. The Gen3-M has a lower hinge to avoid interference when charging the weapon, and a set screw secures the adapter to the receiver. The tension on the hinges is adjustable, so you can choose how stiff the folding mechanism is. Comes with special bolt carrier extension (no tools required for installation/removal). The current version uses standard buffer retention pins and springs. The genuine adapter has DLC coating.
