First on FOX: Unions representing thousands of Border Patrol agents are fully on board with South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s installation as Secretary of Homeland Security, urging senators to approve her nomination. They are calling for “immediate” approval.
“On behalf of the men and women of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) who protect our nation’s borders, I am pleased to support President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Governor Kristi Noem to be the next Secretary of State.” Homeland Security Department,” National Border Security Council Chairman Paul Perez said in a letter to Sen. The union, which represents about 18,000 Border Patrol agents, said in a letter to Paul and Peters that Noem has been involved in a variety of attacks both at home in South Dakota and on the national stage when she supported “operations” in Texas. Fox News Digital previously reported that the Fraternal Order of Police, the largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, sent letters to both President-elect Trump and Paul outlining their firm support for Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security. Reported.

Perez expressed similar sentiments about Border Patrol agents, specifically calling for Noem’s swift confirmation to strengthen overall border and homeland security.
“We are confident that as Secretary, Governor Noem will continue to ensure Border Patrol agents have the resources and manpower they need to protect our borders. If President Trump becomes president, I urge you to confirm Governor Noem as Secretary of State and take the oath of office,” Perez said.
